Land Rover’s illustrious off-roading and exploration adventures span more than 70 years. The Defender Works V8 Trophy II is a limited-edition collector model built to honour this expedition legacy. Owners were invited to pay tribute to the brand’s all-terrain heritage with a three-day action-packed competition, allowing them to familiarise themselves with their vehicles in the most epic way possible.
We transformed a 70-acre nature reserve into the competition venue, with lunch served in a woodland clearing and a campfire dinner set up beneath the stars. Under the guidance of experts, participants unleashed their adventurous spirit, learning knots and lashings, navigating, winching and off-road skills to compete in a series of points-based challenges. We partnered with a newly opened luxury hotel to give guests an exclusive ‘first-night’ experience. We arranged a private trip on a vintage steam train with a bespoke platform built for guests to board. Guests were treated to a foraging experience before ending the event at the beautiful Sandon Hall with a gala dinner and awards ceremony.
