To achieve maximum impact and optimum results from a small conference or business meeting it is often best to remove the delegates from their usual environment.

In previous years, BP had held their Distributor Conference in the UK. However, for 2005 the event business proposed taking their European Fleet Service distributors abroad offering a more open and informal atmosphere.

As the distributors hailed from all over the UK and required flexible travel, it was essential that the chosen location had excellent flight access from more than six UK regional airports.

Palma on the island of Mallorca offered the connections as well as luxury hotels, exquisite restaurants and fair weather:

The programme consisted of one and a half days of conference and a full on supporting social agenda.

The post-programme questionnaires showed the event to be a complete success: some saying it was the best yet and exceeded all expectations!
